Om Tara Tuttare Ture Svaha
"Tara, universal Mother of Compassion, was born from a tear shed by the great Bodhisattva Avalokishvera out of grief for the suffering of beings in the world.
As a manifestation of infinite compassion, she is tireless in bringing solace to those in troubled times and pointing out the way to harmony and inner peace. She is said to manifest in twenty-one forms, as shown, in order to relieve the manifold sufferings of body, heart, and mind that afflict the beings of many realms.
The two lotus flowers she holds symbolize innate purity and wisdom.
Her grace and beauty inspire all who gaze upon her to succeed in actions which generate merit and lead to greater happiness." -back description
