Damme, Germany
with Arnaud Maitland
The Benedictine monastery in Damme, Germany (near Osnabrück) will be the location for the 7th annual European Kum Nye retreat. As an active monastery, situated in a calm and wooded area, we will have the perfect setting for our retreat. We will be practicing and learning about Kum Nye dancing as described in Tarthang Tulku’s new book "Kum Nye Dancing – Introducing Mind to the Treasures the Body Offers".
Additionally, we will explore practices from "Joy of Being”, also by Tarthang Tulku the section on the senses describing the development of non-dual sensory awareness, such as for example seeing, hearing, feeling and knowing awareness.
August 10 - 17, 2013 | Kum Nye - Tibetan Yoga Retreat
''Centre de la Solitude'' à Martillac near Bordeaux, France
with Arnaud Maitland, includes French translation
Kum Nye’s unique approach is to relax and open the mind through working with the body, thus breaking down the energetic structures of habitual thinking and sensing. Instead of feeling fragmented, stressed and conflicted, there is a notable increase of vitality and flexibility. As a result we will feel more integrated and wholesome. Residues from the distant past begin to melt without needing analysis or soul-searching. Body and mind unify and a deep, clear calmness ‘massages’ us within, letting in more ’light’ or energy and revealing more comprehensive pictures of experience. We begin to contact the reality of our nature – be prepared to meet the real you!
Please join us for an in-depth retreat of Kum Nye healing, with both theory and extensive practice from 7 am to 2100hrs.
